Carved Walnut Lift-Top Cabinet
probably Tuscany, 16th/17th century, the lid set with three butterfly wrought iron hinges opening to an upper compartment over two paneled cabinet doors opening to a shelved interior, carved and turned front feet, interior with early iron lock and hasp, mellow brown patinated surface overall, 40-3/4 x 50-1/2 x 21-3/4 in., appears to have good integrity considering age, scattered patches, repairs and restorations especially to moldings, scattered pest damage especially to backboards and upper molding, feet are old replacements, some molding restorations, other possible early repairs.
