German, late 19th century, probably made by F.A. Richter & co. Rudelstadt, two part construction, carved inlaid and glazed door opening to music box mechanism for discs, seventeen 21 inch discs present, case side with original label, on turned feet and resting on a conforming walnut pedestal base, with period winder, pedestal base with locking paneled door opening to compartment for discs, 86 x 29-1/2 x 16 in., Provenance: Private Collection
appears to be in good condition overall, comb appears to be intact, case generally good with scattered minor pest damage and mildew, other typical light wear and flaws, winder with solder repair
