Spanish, possibly 15th century, hinged lid set with iron mounts and green velvet with elaborate pierced gallery and three wrought hasps, fabric lined open interior, box fitted with two locks and various elaborate iron mounts, bottom boards with remnants of leather, 12-1/2 x 24-3/4 x 18-1/4 in.
