Continental, possibly a pastiche and/or composed of parts of various ages, with heavy oak top with wrought hinges and lock hasp with rosette terminals, open interior with lidded till, large, elaborate wrought iron lock plate, relief carved case front and sides, relief carved legs with scalloped interior edges, 33 x 65 x 24 in.

feet ended out approximately four inches, otherwise very good condition considering age, cracks and minor patches to top, corrosion and some edge losses to iron mounts, joints (possible repairs) in two iron straps, lid for interior till possibly an old replacement, once fitted with an additional lock, now removed and filled (one arm of wrought lock facing restored), shrinkage crack at front, later iron braces added at underside of case at leg attachments, some warping to lid
