Face Automaton Table Clock London, late 18th/early 19th century, circular double sided clock face signed "John Bancroft, London", (worked 1780-1807), surrounded by three figural automatonic nine bells, flanked by seated griffins, raised over the stepped two drawer case, gargoyle masks on scrolling acanthus feet, 27-1/4 in.. Condition: break to one umbrella/bell element (off but present), veneer losses, color disparity on two dials and some top bronze elements (possibly old repairs), flaking to both dials at edge, pin holes to silk inset into vine borders around faces, break and repair to one griffin wing. In house shipping. Brunk Auctions provides in-house shipping via UPS Ground (signature required) for many items. Brunk Auctions will provide a shipping quote which includes shipping, materials, labor and insurance. Insurance is based on the selling price and premium.

Sales Tax: If you live in North Carolina and/or pick up from the auction house, and do not have a valid resale tax number on file with us, you MUST pay North Carolina state sales tax. The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
