British, mid 18th century, unusual tall slender form with shaped crest over spindle back centering pierced splat, curved arms with finely carved hand grips, deeply shaped plank seat, set on tall cabriole legs with pad feet, turned stretchers and rear legs, 43-3/4 x 22 x 24 in., seat height 22-3/4 in., seat depth 17-1/2 in. - Provenance: Estate of Robert K.
