American, probably Baltimore area, 1790-1810, rare form with single board figured mahogany serpentine top over three figured mahogany long drawers above two short drawers centering leaf and floral colored marquetry spandrels, on inlaid and tapered legs, poplar, yellow pine, white pine secondary, 35-1/4 x 42-3/4 x 22-3/4 in. - Note: This rare server is accompanied by correspondence from Frank Horton of MESDA regarding its history and construction.
