(Gillsville, Georgia, 1907-1983), unglazed earthenware form with dark coloration to back of head, applied facial features including eyes and eyelids, wide nose, and ear, incised hair decoration on head and at eyebrows, straight spout, 10 in.. Condition: clay body voids , loss to bottom of jug, large areas of loss to clay body at base edge, loss of entire ear and mouth, loss of other ear, hole and loss to right cheek, cracks up from base to chin, chips to spout and rim.
