probably Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1815, galleried cylinder top opening to a fitted and tiger maple-lined interior set with six drawers, lower section set with drawer with leather-lined writing board over a fitted cylinder-form work drawer, two D-shaped drop leaves, trestle-form base with brass paw casters, mahogany and white pine secondary, 40-1/2 x 24-1/4 x 23-1/2 in., opens to 50-1/2 in., brass pulls replaced, breaks and crude repairs to top gallery, scattered minor veneer patches and repairs including small strip patch to top, some repairs and retouch to trestle-form base, other veneer and surface flaws.
