circa 1820, highly figured top rotating and opening above figured skirt, opening to a highly figured mahogany playing surface, on four reeded and leaf carved supports, pedestal base with four legs, elaborately carved with water leaf and bellflower chains, original brass paw casters, mahogany secondary with one white pine bottom board (by visual ID), 30 x 35-1/2 x 18 in.

Condition

top with abrasions and wear, interior top with some veneer cracks and distress from shrinkage, 1 x 2 inch veneer patch, some warping to top, later? braces at underside of legs, one leg with break and repair at joint of pedestal with small area of loss
