1980-1982, one of four examples created by Jesse Bell Williams Telfair (Parrot, Georgia, 1913-1986), pieced and applique cotton, blue block letters on red squares, arranged to spell the word "FREEDOM" in six horizontal rows, small white blocks separate red squares, white backing, 75 x 70-1/2 in.
