New York, circa 1880s, possibly William Demuth & Co., seated figure with early polychrome paint decoration on a square plinth base, 51-1/2 x 45 x 10 in., probable loss at top of headdress and lacking implements (tobacco leaves?) in hands; minor cracks at left elbow and under feet, some cracks and seam lines on plinth (underside with later bracing); second painted surface with scattered losses and retouch.
