Jeweled Marble-Top Pedestal
Attributed to Herter Brothers, circa 1880, thick variegated marble top, the pedestal with two-tone gilding, leather strapwork and glass inset "jewels", probably original surface, 48 x 16-1/2 x 16-1/2 in.. Condition: marble top possibly replaced, extensive deterioration to fabric and leather, scattered surface wear and losses especially at base, one small area of loss at composition ornament.
