Cincinnati, Ohio, pillow vase impasto painted with white flowering branch, signed in mold on bottom "ROOKWOOD / POTTERY" and artist's initials "A.K." (artist unidentified) inside at top, 10-1/4 in., [good condition]; inkwell painted with oak leaves and acorns, 1893, impressed RP with seven flames, "418" and "W" with incised artist's initials "SM" (for Sadie Markland), 2-1/2 in., [turned wood cover and glass liner are replacements]; baluster form with flowering prunus branch, 1894, impressed "RP" monogram and eight flames, "162D", "W" and incised "SEC" (probably for Sallie [Sara] E. Coyne), 5 in., Provenance: Cincinnati Art Galleries, [good condition]; bulging cylindrical form painted with a poppy flower, 1901, impressed "RP" and flames with Roman numeral "I", "917E", and incised artist's initials "LVB.." (for Leona Van Briggle), 5-3/4 in., Provenance: Cincinnati Art Galleries, [one very small glaze nick in rim], (four pieces).
