probably Vienna, 19th century, works stamped "RMS" below rose symbol, with fast/slow mechanism, hinged glass front panel opening to brass and metal dial with engraved Roman numerals surrounded by ormolu scrollwork appliques, set in carved walnut case with carved rosettes, scrollwork, and urn finials, glass side panels, hinged pierced and fabric lined back panel opening to works, with pendulum and winder key, 17-1/2 x 11 x 7-1/4 in.
