American, early 20th century,ÿcream trumpet neck, decorated with thin gold hooked leaves over a wide triple hooked border of reddish brown, signed "Quezal", 10-3/4 in. - Provenance: Cory Donato and Vincent Rocco, Vincent Rocco Antiques, New York, NY, purchased August 6, 1977 for $2,000 (accompanied by copy of receipt); Estate of Jay R. Doros, Springfield, New Jersey - Note: This vase was included in the exhibition "Flights of Fancy: The Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Company" at the Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village, Millville, New Jersey, April 13 through October 20, 1996, curated by Gay LeCleire Taylor.
