American, early 20th century, ovoid vase decorated with large red and gold pulled feathers, signed "Quezal", with etched silver fronds and foliage overlay by Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company, marked "Sterling Silver", 5-1/4 x 3-1/4 in. - Provenance: Sotheby's Parke-Bernet, New York, sale no. 3967, Lot 118, purchased April 1977 for $550; Estate of Jay R.
