British, early 18th century, with shell carved front legs and deeply scrolled rear legs, frame set with pale blue upholstery, 46-1/2 x 38 x 29 in.
Restorations to knee returns, break to one rear leg with early iron brace, brass casters a later addition, other distress to legs with sun fading cracks, rails with minor pest damage, modern upholstery generally good (not examined under upholstery)
