early 18th century, brass and silvered dial signed "Peter King/St. Giles's/Fecit, London", seconds sweep and date aperture, mask decorated spandrels, sarcophagus hood with barley twist colonettes and brass finials, Japanned waisted case of tall narrow form, door centering a glass bullseye, with pendulum, two weights, and winder, 90-1/2 x 21-1/2 x 10-1/2 in.

sarcophagus top a later addition, saddle board replaced, dial and case possibly associated, warping to case door, warping to base panels, rebuilding at base of lower moldings, other surface distress and restoration, other typical distress and restoration to Japanning
