British, first half 18th century, fold-over top opening to a baize-lined playing surface with chip cups and recessed corners, bookmatched veneered skirt, cabriole legs and pad feet, 38-1/2 x 35-3/4 x 16-1/2 in.; opens to 33 in.. Condition: scattered veneer cracks and minor losses including at front skirt, baize lining replaced, original feet (one with later riser at bottom), other warping and veneer distress at side skirts, plugged screw repair at one rear leg attachment, scattered stains, wear and minor repairs consistent with age and use.
