British, 18th century, dense figured mahogany throughout, circular top with drop leaf, hinged top opening to interior compartment, veneered skirt on turned legs and pad feet, 27-1/2 x 29 x 15 in. - Provenance: From the Estate of the Late Jim VanStory, Weaverville, North Carolina
cracks and repairsÿwith one loss to back of top at hinges, color variation between top and leaf, stains and wear to tops, legs and feet in good condition, typical minor distress at skirt, hinges replaced (unusual form, possibly converted?)
