French, probably late 18th century, carved walnut frame set with striped blue upholstery with brass tacking, fluted tapered legs, pinned construction, 38 in., [scattered minor pest damage, small patch at back of one rear stile, later seat frame blocking, other scattered cracks and minor repairs]; together with a Regency style mahogany swiveling stool in matching upholstery, 35 in., [good condition, frame with light wear and abrasions]  both with some wear and stains to upholstery
