French, 18th or 19th century, unusually long form with well carved beech wood frame set with fine yellow silk damask upholstery, loose cushions, pinned construction, 38-3/4 x 88 x 28 in.˜Provenance: Private Florida Collection
frame with surface distress, some wear and losses to carving with areas of infill, some cracks at leg attachments, pest damage to legs with some associated breaks and repairs (fitted with two later stretchers), modern upholstery in good condition with light wear (not examined under upholstery)
