Basket German, late 19th century: finely molded basket with latticework body and gilt loop handle with silvered bow, applied flowers and cats mounted on side rims, gilt-draped platform base with swag feet, base marked with "N" below a crown, probably Potschappel, Saxony, Germany, 12-1/4 x 11-3/4 x 9-1/2 in., [gilt losses especially at top of handle, small loss to flower on foot;] pitcher with leaf handle and gilt decoration, body with leaves and branches, flaring base with shell and leaf decoration, unmarked, probably German, 12 in., [gilt losses] .
