Box circa 1900, turned and carved walnut case with coin slots on both sides, central panel "Polyphon Automatic Musical Instrument. Insert a penny in the slot & the instrument will render a selection of music," medallion signature "Schutz Marke", double comb, single glazed door with vertical musical disk that plays Star-Spangled Banner, 64 x 20-1/4 x 13 in., with 29 disks, 15-5/8 in., appears to be in good condition, two teeth on comb with broken tips, crack in base panel, other typical surface wear and abrasions; disks with various discoloration, rust and corrosion ,.
