1760-1780, with highly figured mahogany top opening to a felt lined playing surface, skirt fitted with two dovetailed drawers, set with probably original rococo gilt brasses, pierced corner brackets, square legs with Marlborough feet, 28-1/2 x 16 x 33 in., opens to 32-1/2 in. - Provenance: Property from a duPont Family Estate, Charlottesville, Virginia
generally good condition, knee brackets and foot appliques restored, probably original brasses, fading and distress to felt playing surface, typical bumps, abrasions, and wear, especially at legs, some very minor cracks at leg tops
