likely .50 cal., 33-3/4 in. octagonal barrel, brass blade front sight, split rear sight, three screw lock plate, maple half stock with cheek rest and straight checkered grip, openwork brass patch box, two piece brass butt plate, single trigger, brass trigger guard, brass and steel inlay at lock screw, brass ramrod thimbles, steel forend cap, 49 in. overall, small powder horn with metal screw components, bullet mold with wooden handles

Condition
old mellow patina to surfaces with some oxidation to barrel, rust in bore, likely altered, ramrod thimbles on barrel, handling wear and abrasions to all surfaces, crack around stock from lock plate to lock screw, another 4 in. crack around both sides of wrist, small crack in butt of stock, another hairline crack to fore stock, trigger and hammer appear to function, powder horn with old peeling lacquer surface, rust to metal components, bullet mold with pitted oxidized metal and heavily worn wooden handles

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
