1760-1780, walnut with poplar secondary, pegged and dovetailed construction throughout, upper case with molded cornice and fluted quarter columns, lower case with scalloped skirt, cabriole legs with ball and claw feet, bat wing brasses, 74-1/2 x 46-1/2 x 24-1/2 in. - Provenance: Property from a duPont Family Estate, Charlottesville, Virginia
good structural condition, appears to retain original brasses (three have been reset), scattered minor patches and repairs including at some drawer lips, butterfly braces at interiors of upper case sides, minor cracks and checking with one very small loss at ball
