Lancaster area, Bachman School, late 18th century, scrolled pediment with carved rosettes and finial plinth above two arched glazed doors flanked by fluted quarter columns, lower case with seven dovetailed drawers, with original brass bail pulls, flanked by fluted quarter columns, set on ogee bracket feet, poplar and pine secondary, dovetailed and rosehead nail construction, upper case interior with traces of early orange paint, 96 x 41 x 23 in. - Provenance: Private Collection, Charlotte, North Carolina

in excellent condition with original feet, brasses, and hardware, lacking finials, retains much of its early glazing (one cracked panel) , some finish distress and minor sun fading, some locks missing, other typical wear, surface flaws, and very minor repairs
