Cherry Tall Case Clock
19th century, Abraham Patton and Samuel G. Jones, 79 High Street, Philadelphia, 1804-1814, cherry case with broken-arch pediment, original hand-painted dial with Roman counters, brass works stamped verso "Patton & Jones, Phila.", flanked by fully turned side columns with brass caps and bases; chamfered side columns flanking single cross-banded door, base with paneled front and toe molding, French feet. 96-1/2 x 23-1/2 x 11-1/2 in., separations to left side of pediment, minor loss to front left corner molding, cracks and losses to veneer at molding on sides and at feet on both sides, feet shortened 1 in. to 1-1/2 in..
