English, mid-19th century, cobalt ground with gilt decoration, consisting of a two-handled footed center bowl, 4-3/4 x 13-3/8 x 8-1/4 in.; pair shell-form scalloped bowls, gilt handles, 2-1/4 x 9-3/4 x 8-1/4 in.; pair oval bowls, 1-3/4 x 10-1/4 x 7-1/8 in.; with set of twelve plates, each marked "Spode", "2389", 8-1/2 in., good condition.
