19th century, magenta ground, finely hand painted panel on either side, one featuring two figures in seaside landscape, one featuring busy harbor scene, gilt accents throughout, molded foliate decorations along sides and rim, each side with molded dog, suspended deer, and fowl, base imprinted "542", 13-1/2 x 18-1/2 in.
