Japanese, late 1940s, four [papier mâché] masks of popular festival figures including [Okame], [Hyottoko], [Oni] and [Ry? oni], 8-1/2 in. to 11-1/2 in.. Condition: cracks, chips and paint losses, mostly around edges and at string holes, residual tape reinforcing string hole on Oni mask, one repair to base of mask.
