Note: Oral history places the sitters in North Carolina. The use of yellow pine in stretchers would support a southern origin.
Condition
both relined with linen, crackle throughout, cleaned, varnished and retouch points throughout composition of young girl, slightly more retouch to young boy, especially in background, see blacklight photos; frames with losses and wear but very nice color and patina
