English, early 19th century, oval with gadroon and shell borders, lid with shaped rim, reeded handles, acanthus and paw feet, let-in shield with heraldic device, "CONSTANS ET FIDELIS" (constant and faithful), unmarked, 5-1/2 x 7-3/4 x 5-1/4 in.
