19th century or earlier, each of squat ovoid form with molded lion mask side handles, multicolored enamel decoration, green diapered rims with floral roundels and landscape scenes, exteriors with grazing buffalo, butterflies, and floral sprays, interiors with fish, crabs, and water flora, 16-1/2 x 23-1/4 in.
Condition
surface dirt and accretion, wear consistent with use outdoors, scattered pinholes and glaze anomalies, a few rim chips and restorations; one with two large hairline cracks to body (near one palm tree), some paint retouch to floral/palms near cracks
