German, 19th century, each with crossed swords mark to base, one female with hurdy gurdy, one male with guitar, both in gilt and enamel decoration, larger 12-7/8 x 4-1/2 in.

slight wear to bases, loss to gilt, surface dust/accretion; male figure with associated carved wood stand, break to top of guitar (retained), small chip on sleeve, losses to tuning keys
