Painted with Scenes of Rural Life Denuelle Porcelain Manufactory (Paris, 1818–1829), large pair of campana urns with mask handle terminals, dull gold decoration on reverse, each with black stamp on bottom "DENUELLE/A PARIS", 13 in.,. Condition: gilding worn, especially on bases, old repairs where one base and urn are joined, repaired chip on top rim of one, comes with pair of new metal joiners. Notes: In 1818, the chemist Benjamin Cadet de Vaux and the porcelain maker and painter Auguste Dominique Denuelle acquired an existing factory established in 1792. Denuelle became the sole proprietor in 1820.
