circa 1900, a gentleman and a lady in 18th-century dress seated in upholstered rococo armchairs, she holding a fan and resting her feet on a footstool, both figures raised on oval plinths with molded and gilded rococo ornament, identical small double-louis marks with crowns on bottom and signed "Saxony" in underglaze blue, 10 in., extensive repairs including hands on both, gentleman's coattails, gentleman's wig (bow and tail), possible repaired cracks in base of lady.
