likely converted M1822 cavalry pistols, octagonal to round 7-7/8 in. rifled barrels, one with lock plate inscribed "M. Imp. de Mutzeg", serial number 1886 on parts, various hallmarks to both sides of barrel including "M.1855", "1886 M1", "Cde17.CAN", encircled "Crown" over "D" and "T" hallmarks, barrel tang marked "M1822", the other with lock plate marked "M. Imp. de St. Etienne", serial number 554 on parts, sides of barrels marked "S.1854" and "Cde 17-6N A" and encircled "M" and "F", barrel tang marked "M1822", both with hallmarks to silver butt straps, and brass components, impressed marks to stocks, both approximately 14 in.ÿ - Provenance: Private Collection, Kingsport, Tennessee

both with minor scratches, nicks, and dings throughout, one with 1 in. square repair to wood fore stock, other handling wear to stocks including scratches, and chips, both muzzles with slightly rolled edgesÿ
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
