Qing dynasty, comprising: pair of bowls with six character blue Da Qing Yongzheng Nian Zhi mark to base, enameled figural decoration, interior rim border, central floral spray, 4-1/4 x 10-1/8 in.; plate with red six character Da Qing Tongzhi Nian Zhi mark to base, enameled still life with flowers, vases, and books, 2 x 11-5/8 in.

Provenance: By Descent in the Fahnestock and Michalis Families, New York

Collected and enjoyed by three generations of a prominent New York family, the following art and objects were housed in the family residences in the Villard Houses on Madison Avenue, Fahnestock Park in the Hudson Valley, and their Summer house in Garrison, New York. The family enjoyed sailing and collected with that passion in mind, acquiring the Buttersworth paintings and other marine art largely in the 1960s and 1970s. Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
