Decorated Gilt and Lacquered Brass-Mounted Two-Tier Tables
probably Maison Jansen, French, 20th century, each top with shaped corners, gilt latticework design centering a scene with figures, lower shelves with gilt strapwork designs, set with brass artichoke finials and faux bamboo brass legs on paw feet, 24 x 18-3/4 x 14-1/2 in., excellent condition overall, some surface wear and minor gilding losses, undersides of shelves possibly repainted, very minor chips and edge wear. Notes: Said to be from Diana Mitford Mosley's folly, the Temple de la Gloire, south of Paris.. Provenance: Private Collection
