Imari Vases with Two Imari Plates
Japanese, 20th century: pair of vases with interior stylized floral decoration, shoulder with gilt floral designs, body with alternating figural and floral panels, unmarked bases, 12-1/2 in., one with extensive breaks and repairs at rim extending into body, minor gilt and enamel losses, the other with firing anomalies at top rim with losses to gilt and enamel; Imari plate with scalloped border, floral and gilt decoration, center with pagoda in a mountain landscape, underglaze blue Mt. Fuji mark, 8-1/4 in., age crack from center of foot into shoulder; Imari plate with scalloped rim, lattice and stylized floral design with stork and dragons, underglaze blue Mt.
