Continental, early 19th century, urn with flame finial, reticulated ring handles, mounted on black marble and blue john stepped plinth, 9-5/8 in. some losses to gilt surfaces, bronze mountings slightly loose, scattered nicks, chips, and two repair to marble, nicks and chips to blue john corners and edges, one garniture with visible adhesion between marble and blue john, other surface wear and abrasions consistent with age and use
