probably British, late 18th/early 19th century, figured mahogany veneers on blocked serpentine fronts, black string inlay and edging, interiors with cutlery dividers, 16-1/4 x 9-3/8 x 14 in.. Condition: screw holes stripped on one hinge, black edging broken and some missing, back of one box is cracked, some veneer losses, slight checking in figured veneers on top and front, lacking feet, various anomalies as made.
