Chinese, late 19th century, each cover with gilt foo dog and ball finial, baluster-form bases with applied gilt foo dog and ring handles, heavily enameled with panels of stylized lilies, insects, birds, butterflies and water fowl, gilt butterfly banding, unmarked circular bases, 15-1/4 in., one cover with extensive old breaks and repairs including eleven staples, finials with gilt losses, body of one with large crack and repair from top rim into shoulder with loss to right of handle, both with gilt and enamel losses, chips to top rims, losses to handles.
