19th/20th century, two bronze lanterns situated on circular bases with decorative dog, turtle, and dragon carvings, reticulated globes with lotus pattern, paper screen, and hinged doors, hexagonal roofs with hanging bells supported by fish adornments, flame finials, electric cords, 18-1/2 x 6 in. Provenance: Collection of Colonel and Mrs. Rigby D. Valliant, Fairfax, Virginia
wear consistent with age and use, one bell attachment separated from piece, paper screen displays tearing, paper screen missing from one lantern, closing mechanism for one door missing, electric cords do not match
