British, 18th century, deeply carved rosette drapery and leaf decorated crest, carved and pierced splat, yellow upholstered period slip seats, leaf carved legs and ball and claw feet, 38 x 24 x 24 in.
Condition
patch and repair at one front foot, breaks and repairs with patches at crest rail attachments, splats with scars at back from previous braces (now removed), other scattered cracks and repairs to splats (possible recarving), scattered pest damage and typical surface flaws, upholstery in good condition
