19th/20th century, including pair of large porcelain baluster-form covered jars painted with scene of mother with children at play in a landscape on one side and long poem on reverse, 16-1/2 in. overall, [one cover with two chips under rim and roughness to edge of knob, some enamel wear, remnants of seals attached to shoulders with cellophane tape, tape residue on side]; and basin painted in bottom with scene of woman and child riding a dragon and followed by a servant with an umbrella, male figures dance around border, 3-1/2 x 11-1/2 in., [gilding and enamel lightly worn].
