19th century, each brightly enameled with red comb and open mouth, 14 in.. Condition: both with very minor losses at points of comb, small repair with retouch at one comb. Notes: Dr. Walker Gill Wiley, grandfather of the consigner, was a soldier, surgeon, teacher, entrepreneur, a very successful businessman, and a founder of Duke Power Company.
